Why it belongs. One Cubone appears to have nodded off beside another on a quiet stone bridge at dusk, head lowered and eye closed beneath the glowing street lamps. Cubone’s story has always been shaped by loss: it wears its late mother’s skull, and its Pokédex lore says that memories of her can make it cry in its dreams. That makes this small moment feel unusually powerful, a Pokémon so often defined by loneliness is shown here simply sitting beside someone else, safe enough to rest.
